8^th Small Animal Imaging Workshop 2013

The 4,5-day animal imaging workshop will be held from January 28 - February 1, 2013.

Our 8^th animal imaging workshop will provide an overview on state-of-the-art small animal imaging modalities including microPET, microSPECT, 7 Tesla MRI, PET/MRI, microCT, fluorescence and bioluminescence optical imaging, ultrasound, image analysis software solutions and basic lab methods.
In addition, basics of animal handling will be teached. A major focus will be hands-on-training; each attendee will have the opportunity to work with animals and the different imaging modalities. After the lectures, we will establish four groups working on the different modalities based on a "rotation principle". The workshop is limited to a maximum of 36 attendees (first come first serve). Both, individuals with experience in small animal imaging as well as beginners are welcome to join this workshop.

The seat for the workshop is only guaranteed if payment or at least proof of payment is received no later than the due date specified for the individual rates.
